Haris Kambouridis/Ta Nea: A Pendulum of Colour and Design (extract)

… A first exhibition also, for sculptor Michalis Kallimopoulos. Human heads –self-portraits of the artist– in which also appears a fair or an intense disfigurement, as they are seen in an illustrative feeling of a comic-book. In the end, it is as if consolidated in stone, the hasty figure of modern person that one often comes through in illustrated stories or in graffiti-art. A sculpture of specific character; makes a monument of the instantaneous; there is both an interest to it, and a future.
